MERCURY is available in a wide range of standard models and configurations. In addition, its modular design allows to easily assemble machines in customized sizes, when required. Based on a single modular design architecture, MERCURY can be mounted either on the side, or on top of the workplate, or on the floor. In addition, it can also be installed on the customer’s worktable so as to minimize the need for new investments, while maximizing the existing ones.
MERCURY is available in three main versions:
- MERCURY MB, manual entry-level configuration offering the best price/performance ratio. It is the ideal solution for scribing and manual measurements of medium-low tolerance parts.
- MERCURY MAN, manual horizontal-arm upgradeable to DCC version. It is the optimal CMM for the inspcetion of medium tolerance small batch parts.
- MERCURY DCC, fully automatic version, meeting the most demanding application needs. It offers the most comprehensive and cost effective solution for unmanne dinspection of any medium tolerance part. Disengageable drives available as option.
MERCURY allows you to choose the optimal configuration for your application:
- Side-mount. Ideal for mid-size parts, the arm slides on guideways located at the side of the table. As a result, the arm is totally outside of the working area so to allow easy part loading/unloading operations and optimal accessibility.
- Top-mount. The arm can either be installed on a worktable supplied with the machine, or on a customer’s worktable, or slide on a self-standing beam. Top-mount configurations offer maximum flexibility and they are ideal for measuring medium, large and very large parts and/or heavy parts. Walk-on X beams make the machine extremely suitable for flush-floor installations allowing the user to walk around the part and the machine safely.
