LBE (Long Bench Equipment)

The LBE is designed to meet the needs of Legal and other measurement laboratories that need to calibrate instruments over long distances such as up to 50 meters (150 feet).

Measurement of Tapes, Laser Distance Measuring Interferometers and Electronic Distance Measuring Equipment
Measurement of Tapes by comparison or to a reference laser
High rigidity for best measurement repeatability
Minimised Abbé offsets for optimal accuracy

Product Spec
Measurement Capacity:	Optional in 2 meter increments to 50 meters or greater
Measurement Capability:	Dependant upon application and local environment. A system installed at the UK National Weights and Measures Laboratory (NWML) operates with Measurement Uncertainties of typically ± [10 + (0.6 + L)] micrometers (“L” in meters)
Configurations and Options include: Single or Twin Carriages per Track Single or Dual Tracks Electronic Distance Measuring (EDM) instrument calibration Test Laser to Master Laser calibration Pocket and Surveyor’s (steel or Invar) Tape Calibration: To a Master Tape To a Reference Laser Tape supported in catenary mode (over Rollers)
