The PRIMA horizontal arm coordinate measuring machine represents the state-of-the-art in high-performance cost-effective flexible gaging of large volume workpieces for manufacturing support. The quality of design and the superior mechanical structure, plus the broad range of probes, heads and accessories make PRIMA a high-performance CMM, easy to use under all operating conditions. PRIMA CMMs can be equipped with the DEA CW43L-mw high-performance continuous wrist, laser sensors, scanning probes, touch-trigger probes and styli changers.
The PRIMA Rxt series features the guideway of the mobile carriage on the main beam directly fixed to the floor (Runway architecture). Thanks to its structure, PRIMA Rxt offers the advantage of an unobstructed workpiece accessibility. The Runway configuration does not include the part holding machine plate that can be supplied separately.
For applications in the harsher environment conditions PRIMA Rxt can be supplied in the shop floor configuration Rxt-sf. The PRIMA Rxt-sf is equipped with a complete protection of the mobile carriage and it can be used in a still wider temperature range (16 – 26 °C).
