The PRIMA horizontal arm coordinate measuring machine represents the state-of-the-art in high-performance cost-effective flexible gaging of large volume workpieces for manufacturing support. The quality of design and the superior mechanical structure, plus the broad range of probes, heads and accessories make PRIMA a high-performance CMM, easy to use under all operating conditions. Fitted with a power milling head, the PRIMA RI is capable of light drilling and milling of either clay or resin models for styling and research centre applications.
The PRIMA RI models feature an innovative architecture, called Runway Integral, that combines the advantages of the integrated workbench of the Console version to the flexibility and ergonomics of the Runway version. The workplate of the RI models can be installed flush to the floor or even directly on an industrial floor. It does not need dedicated foundations up to X strokes of 7000 mm.
